Interview with Swiss List

When did you first come up with swiss list? It all begin at IU, my freshman year of college. Like anything other freshman on a Friday night, I wanted to know what was going on. I did a massive group text message to all my contacts on my phone asking “whats the buzz tonight?”. All my friends replied back with a bunch of parties and based off the details they told me about each event I came up with the top events I felt that were worth going to. Little did I know, this was the beginning of the Swiss List. • How old were you? I was 18 years old, the first official list went out October 1st, 2010. It was also the first Friday of the month. • What are some of your goals and plans for swiss list in the this coming year? By the end of this year I hope to be at 15 campuses doing the Swiss List and also raising money for our premier website that will help all our users find events around them a lot more efficiently. • Will You being doing any work with btown's hip hop? I hope to work with Btown in their business affairs and do a couple of partnership events to build both our names as well as gain some more experience in dealing with young entrepreneurs like myself. • When will Swiss List hit other campuses? We just took over Purdue and Ball State these past few weeks of October and we plan on getting a solid following in Indianapolis and Indiana State University. • Who is your fav midwest artist? Mark Vachon, aka The Logic, is artist who has so much potential. I have been on his music for 3 years straight and its great quality. This guy has an incredible ability to freestyle with witty rhymes that will leave you wanting to hear more. I pray this kid starts to believe in his talent a little more and work on his promotion. I know many people are waiting for another great rapper behind the microphone and I believe he could be that next guy. • What is the funnest thing you have heard mike jones say? Who!!! (Mike Jones). Why is this funny? I don’t know, I think its obvious everyone knows its Mike Jones lol.
